Meet the woman behind VORTEXX Consulting
In early 2011, after working for many years in the nonprofit sector, my life unexpectedly moved in a new direction. As I began volunteering for several nonprofit organizations, I found myself being identified as a “management consultant.” Realizing the impact of the help I was giving, I decided to create VORTEXX Consulting to continue to share my management knowledge and expertise.
My work experience is as varied and diverse as my travels. I have held training, management and leadership positions in the Navy, higher education, military spouse, nonprofit, and business organizations. My broad spectrum of knowledge and experience enhances my ability to serve and identify with many different clients.
I believe in giving back. I currently serve on the management boards of the Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads, Project Light and Women in Defense Hampton Roads. I also serve on the Armed Forces Committee of the Chamber of Commerce and am a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Hampton Roads Chapter of Navy League.
